 Salt cells are the heart of your saltwater system—converting salt into chlorine to keep your pool sanitized. Over time, calcium and mineral deposits build up inside the cell, reducing its ability to produce chlorine efficiently.

Without regular cleaning, your salt cell can:

We recommend cleaning your salt cell every 3–6 months to extend its life, maintain water quality, and prevent unnecessary equipment costs.
